Auburn/Ole Miss Game (Party Bus Style!)

This past Saturday, 18 of our closest friends joined us on a party bus down to the plains! It was SO fun! We took a bus to a game last year and decided we must do it again. It's just so nice to not have to worry about driving, especially when it is a night game. That two hours home is always rough! This time, Auburn was playing Ole Miss and so we had some Ole Miss fans join us. Thankfully, they didn't have a whole lot to say on the ride home! :) What a great game we got to see!

Since it was a night game, we decided to have a little tailgate. It was such a beautiful day and we all just enjoyed each other's company so much! There are not many days that we get to spend sans kids, so we took full advantage of our day off! Of course we missed them, but I know ours were having more fun with Migi and Pops (as evidenced by the fact that when we drove up on Sunday to get them, they both started crying!). We are taking them this weekend to Homecoming though and I'm just as excited for them to be down there too!

 

We are SO thankful for these friends! They are all in our Sunday school class and we just adore them! Lots of good memories on this trip for sure!

Carroll and Jeremy invited us to sit with them and the Bridges and I was so glad that we got to do that! It was fun to watch the game with friends!

The only downside was that we didn't get home until 1:30 am, but we were able to sleep in some and we'll just play catch up this week! What a fun trip! Can't wait to do it again next year! I'm thinking we may have to try out the Grove next year! :)
