Nursery Pictures...FINALLY!!!

It has been a while since I have blogged...hopefully, no one has lost interest! Joel and I have been really busy these last few weeks. Work was really busy for me for a few weeks as I was trying to get everything wrapped up before the baby comes. I really didn't want to leave any work on anyone when I went out, and my energy level has gone way down the past few weeks as well! It has been all I could do to stay up to 9! We have made a lot of progress on the nursery as well! The crib and chair finally came in just in time! There are still a few accessories that we need to get, especially for the bookshelf, and a couple of the walls are a little bare, but overall, we think it looks adorable! Now, we just need Hudson to get here!


My dad painted one last picture for the bathroom. This time, he did a sailboat and we think it looks amazing, just like the others! He really needs to go into business!

As for an update on me, I had my 39 week appointment yesterday and the doctor did not think I would make it to next Friday with the progress that I made this week. This was such a surprise to me as I have really had no signs of labor until now. I really thought I would be one of those that went a week overdue and had to be induced! Hopefully that won't happen! It turns out that the doctor knew something I didn't know...I guess that's what they make the big bucks for! Last night and today, I've been having contractions about 8 minutes apart so far and they seem to be getting worse as the day has gone on, so hopefully we're getting close! These contractions, while not unbearable yet, are definitely different than the ones I have had before now! Joel and I are just trying to relax and get as much sleep as we can since we don't know what the next few days are going to be like. It's hard to not be anxious about what is to come though...and maybe a little nervous too! Hopefully, the next time you read this blog, we will have pictures of our little guy!
