Christmas Eve Eve

We celebrated Christmas with Joel's immediate side of the family on Christmas Eve Eve. We just could not find a time on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day where everyone could all be together for long enough, so this was the perfect compromise. I actually enjoyed stretching Christmas out a bit. And, I know the kids loved opening presents 3 days in a row. Ha! It was a great start to the holiday weekend!

Christmas is always more fun with babies!!! We loved celebrating sweet Lilla's first Christmas!

We had a wonderful dinner followed by Joel reading Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Something about their daddy reading had them in stitches! The boys were cracking up!!!

We attempted a family picture and discovered that we really need a tripod!!! I thought it turned out pretty good though!

 Then it was present time!

Harrison was so cute opening presents. After every one, he would just say he loved it so much and it was exactly what he wanted. He definitely knows how to work it, but he was also really genuinely excited! Love Christmas through the kids eyes!!!

The little girl with a bow that I never got! :)

Hudson made out like a bandit too. He was in heaven!

 Somehow he looks 12 here...
We had such a fun night!
