Disney, Day 4 - Animal Kingdom!

Day 4 was Animal Kingdom day! We found Tarzan right off the bat. This picture kind of weirds me out a little bit! :)

Then it was onto our fast pass for the Safari. This was one of the best things we did the whole trip. We got really lucky with the animals and saw so many of them this time! It was great. We did not want the safari to end!

It was such a hot day at Animal Kingdom. It was almost miserable, really. That park does not have much shade! And EVERYONE was talking about the looming hurricane that was getting closer and closer to us.

We saw the Lion King show which was absolutely fabulous, and then had to do It's a Bug's Life. That's one of my favorite shows. It actually scared Harrison a little bit, but he thought it was hilarious too!

They were being bugs...
We rode Everest, which was insane! This was another ride that we probably shouldn't have put Harrison on. I think it may have scared him for life. I had never ridden it before so I didn't know anything about it. Harrison is a really good sport though! Joel said he would never ride it again. Ha!

We also did the river rapids ride and got SOAKED. We decided to get some family pictures right after that. So, that is not sweat you see on us...well it might be somewhat...but it is mostly water from that ride!

We left Animal Kingdom mid-afternoon and headed back to the hotel to swim. We had planned to go back in the Magic Kingdom to hang for a bit that night and eat dinner, but the boys were pretty tired (all THREE of them), and, due to the hurricane coming the next day, everyone seemed to be headed to the Magic Kingdom that night since the next few days were going to be a wash out. It was insane. The monorail was ridiculous. We were happy to stay away from the madness. We did hop on the monorail and went over to the Grand Floridian and walked around the grounds and ate dinner there.

I also made sure that I was hurricane ready...

It was a nice low key night before all the hurricane craziness began the next day!
