More Christmas Fun!

Harrison had PJ day with Santa last week at school. I thought these were sweet.

Hudson had his big choir performance at church last Wednesday night. They did a little play called "No Room for Christmas" and it was adorable! I am still wondering how in the world they were able to teach all of those kids all the songs and lines in only a few weeks (and get the kindergarteners to stay still for that long on stage!). Very impressive.

Hudson had his class party on Friday afternoon. All of our friends and family will get a kick out of this. Most people know that Hudson has a little tuba obsession. (P.S. Thankfully, they do not make kid sized tubas--and yes, I looked!).

This is Hudson's best buddy, Luke!

Saturday, we had Hudson's second basketball game. After only one game and one practice, he's getting the hang of it!
 His biggest fan...

After the basketball game, we headed to see Aubie Claus! This is becoming a fun tradition!

The boys both loved Aubie this year so that was fun!

Then it was off to see my grandmother at her holiday party.

The boys got to see Santa one more time. Thankfully, no questions have come up regarding the many different Santas they have seen this year! :) Harrison was way past due for a nap by this point so he looks less than thrilled.

The boys received a real letter from Santa this year! It even mentioned their two buddies, Luke and Henry, and they thought that was the coolest thing in the world and they can't stop asking how Santa knows all of that! I'm a little perplexed too...it had a grandmother written all over it, but she wasn't responsible for this one! Ha! Regardless, these letters have been a BIG deal around our house!

Sunday afternoon, I had a tea for Allison (no pictures, but cannot wait until the wedding in January!) and then the boys and I headed to the Bridges for a gingerbread house decorating party. We have been doing this since the kids were 2 and it has been such a fun tradition! This year, the party was expanded a bit and we had so much fun with all of our friends! As usual, Margaret went all out and had them do a fun candy cane ornament, decorate cookies (which Hudson ate every single one of his before we went home), AND the gingerbread house. The boys had a blast.

Harrison did his little ornament all by himself! I was so proud of him!

Decorating (and eating!) cookies! See all the candy on the table??? I think this boy consumed several bowls worth throughout the afternoon. And then at the end, I caught him with the basket of marshmallows. He's trouble!

Buddies since they were little babies!

The finished product! Such a fun time!

After the party, we headed to the Reed's for a birthday dinner for Charlie. Seriously, no rest for the weary in our house around the holidays! We love every bit of it and are having a blast this holiday season! Can't wait for more fun this weekend!
